Program Overview
Penn Christian Academy Preschool provides a Christian learning program that is holistic and developmental in nature. The school recognizes the individual strengths of children as unique gifts from God. The chief aim of the school is to glorify God in a quality learning environment.
Through a developmentally-designed curriculum, children are given the opportunity to develop in spiritual, academic, motor, communication, personal, social and emotional areas. Small class size provides appropriate play experiences and individual work as needed. Play is the work of young children, and they learn using a variety of materials and through interactions with people.
Our policy is not to discriminate against any child whose needs can be met within this program. The school accepts children who meet the age criteria and who can best function within the physical facility and program constraints available. PCA’s Dean of Academics can meet with parents of special needs children to determine if the existing program and current staff can adequately meet the child’s needs.
